So you are thinking about moving.
The decisions are endless and the sheer notion of moving all your stuff is almost unbearable. If you have a family and are making this type of decision then there are so many different things to consider.
Let’s use an example!
Say you are planning to move to Sacramento. You have a family and need to make sure you choose the right location to fit their needs.
The obvious home size and proximity to work has to be a factor. You may need 3 rooms for the kids and one for you and don’t forget the office. Do you want a 2 story or one story? How about which way the house faces, east or west? Pool or no pool? Condo (scratch that one)?
You would need to do some research on which Sacramento school would be the best choice for your kids. What is the size of the school? Do your kids need to consider the sports program? What are the test scores of the school? So many things to consider.
You would need to consider demographics, average age of the residents in different areas of town. The population needs to be a factor because you may want some people but not too crowded either.
I know there are several things still to consider but know this, don’t over think it. Go with what makes you the most comfortable and the rest will fall into place.
